Nigab replaces external AP automation solution with ExFlow

Founded in 1983, nigab belongs to the HansJust Group which has well established companies in the wine and spirits industry in all Nordic countries. After two attempts to introduce Automation to their Accounts Payable department with external solutions, nigab went live with ExFlow in 2019 and hasn’t looked back since.

With multiple offices, a growing number of invoices, and the desire to be more modern, nigab started looking at AP Automation solutions. They first entered the world of AP Automation trialling 2 alternative technologies. These external solutions did not end up suiting nigab’s requirements long-term however, as invoices were still taking a long time to enter their ERP and one agnostic solution also decided to bury the version nigab were using, leaving them back at square one.

Not wanting to end up in that situation again, nigab realised they needed to replace their agnostic AP Automation solution with something that was built-into NAV.

EXFLOW AND NIGAB: A PERFECT PAIRING

After attending an ExFlow webinar, nigab’s finance team “almost couldn’t believe” the features of ExFlow – it was the obvious choice in answering all of their AP business needs. The most important feature was being fully integrated into NAV and that it wouldn’t require new integration costs when they upgrade their ERP in the future, ExFlow can easily move with nigab to D365.

As each supplier invoice requires approvals from 2 or 3 people at nigab, following up the status or history of an invoice is now much simpler and even their auditors have been “very impressed” with ExFlow, only needing 1 person to certify that an invoice is correct.

ONGOING SUPPORT

At the start of the project, ExFlow allocated a “great project manager” who took the time to understand nigab’s processes and requirements. Since then, the support has been ongoing. “The support from SignUp Software is great, we feel that we’re not left on our own once we bought the system. They are very attentive and helpful whenever we have support issues. They always listen to us and our needs, and are open-minded to developing ExFlow further” says Marie.

With their AP processes finally stable since implementing ExFlow in 2019, their finance team often questions how they ever lived without it.
